I own a old, from late 80s B&K Sonata Series EX 442 Amplifier. It had a nice warm sound and had been compared to a "tube" like sound. It pushes 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms, so it has some heft. It still turns on and plays music but I am sure that many of its internal parts have past their age and / or could be upgraded.
